PAID Romania (The Pool of Insurance Against National Disasters) and MullenLowe created the initiative of declaring March 4th as the National Day of Awareness for the Natural Disasters, in an attempt to raise the degree of awareness about the risks associated with natural disasters and the Romanians’ level of education on this topic. The campaign covers all media: 10 national radio stations played the same message at exactly 9:22 p.m., the hour when the terrible earthquake took place; a gigantic mesh in Bucharest centre, representing a building affected by the earthquake and spectacular digital projections.
