Ho-Ho-Ho and bell clinks can be heard closer and closer as the spirit of Christmas takes over Veranda Mall: Santa and his reindeer have announced that they have bought, for the first time, tickets with destination… Obor. In order to welcome them properly, MullenLowe has decorated the Veranda shopping center with lots of surprises that will entice visitors with carols and cinnamon scent for a home-like Christmas.
„We wished for the first Christmas in Veranda to be a special and memorable one, to help our visitors rediscover the joy of the holiday season. MullenLowe took our brief more seriously than a wish list and became Santa’s help, in order to prepare magic moments and presents for Bucharest people, so close to their dwelling that they will feel like home,” says Andrei Pogonaru, Veranda developer.
„Christmas is my favorite time of the year: the house smells of orange and cinnamon, the boeuf salad is decorated with snowmen and Christmas trees, and your couch becomes the most beautiful place on earth. And somehow it is large enough for the whole family. And all these things happen in one place only: at home. Christmas is home and no other place. And because Veranda Mall is in the heart of the Obor community, so close to home, because at Veranda you meet your neighbours and everything is so familiar, we have decided that the first Christmas at Veranda shall be the most beautiful. Thus, during the holiday season, Veranda awaits its visitors with a series of specific surprises for this time of the year. They can win trips in Romania, TVs or photo/video cameras, lush meals or Christmas decorations. Veranda and MullenLowe are giving Santa some serious tasks too – he will deliver in person these prizes, on Christmas Eve.
In December, Veranda will be filled by carols and the joy of children (of all ages) on the rink and a Christmas fair will appeal the visitors with traditional goodies. Furthermore, Santa have prepared theater plays and workshops for children as well as other surprises for everyone’s taste.
